WGL Energy Enters New Service Areas

WGL Energy Services, Inc. (WGL Energy) is expanding its natural gas services to several service areas in western Pennsylvania where it previously only provided electricity.
Specifically, WGL Energy will now offer natural gas service at National Fuel Gas Distribution, Peoples Natural Gas, and Peoples Gas Company in Pennsylvania, in addition to its existing gas offers at Columbia Gas, and its existing electricity offers across Pennsylvania
WGL Energy said that it is also planning to target new service territories in Ohio
In the western Pennsylvania natural gas territories, WGL Energy will initially serve large commercial and industrial customers, "and will eventually offer natural gas service to residential and small business customers in the new western Pennsylvania territories later in 2023," the company said
WGL Energy operates a regional sales office in downtown Pittsburgh
