New Utility-Affiliated Retail Supplier Receives License

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted AES Solutions Management, LLC a retail electric supplier license to serve commercial and industrial customers in all service areas
AES Solutions Management was formed in 2019 but, to date, its retail supply efforts have been limited to serving customers in Virginia in the Dominion Energy service area, under the partial choice program in such service area
Discussing its retail operations in Virginia, AES Solutions Management has said that it serves large commercial customers (exceeding 55 MW in aggregate)
AES Solutions Management said in its Ohio application that, "Applicant does not plan to advertise through public sources and contacts customers through current relationships and networks."
AES Solutions Management is an affiliate of Ohio electric distribution utility AES Ohio (Dayton Power & Light)
