Direct Energy Offering Energy Plans That Include Free Amazon Prime

Direct Energy said that it is offering two years of Amazon Prime included as part of its "On Us" electricity plans
In Texas, the "On Us" electricity plan suite includes the following electricity plans: Twelve Hour Power On Us, offering free electricity between 9 p.m. and 9 a.m.; Free Power Weekends On Us, offering free power from Friday night at 6 p.m. until 11:59 PM on Sunday; and Live Brighter On Us, offering a fixed rate for 24 months. All plans are fixed rate plans (either with a fixed rate for all hours, or a fixed rate for those hours which are not free). All of the plans are also 100% renewable
The available "On Us" plans may differ in various markets, and unique On Us plans with free Amazon Prime are offered in markets outside of Texas
Customers can sign up for Prime membership via the Direct Energy activation link provided after a completed electricity enrollment. Existing Prime members will receive a $15 gift card that will be automatically applied to their Amazon account each month for the length of their contract term.
Prime is described as a $139 per year value
In the Oncor service area, Direct Energy's Live Brighter
On Us 24 plan is a 100% renewable, 24-month fixed rate plan with an average all-in rate, at 1,000 kWh, of 16.4¢ per kWh, which reflects an Energy Charge of 11.6411¢ per kWh, a Base Charge: $4.95, and Oncor Electric Delivery Delivery Charges of $4.23 per month and 3.8498¢ per kWh. A $295 early termination fee applies
