AEP Energy Partners Receives New Retail Supplier License

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted AEP Energy Partners, Inc. a retail electric supplier license to serve commercial and industrial customers in the service area of AEP Ohio
AEP Energy Partners, Inc. (AEPEP) in its application had stated that it, "currently serves commercial, industrial, municipal, and cooperative customers in the wholesale electric service market in the following Regional Transmission Organizations: PJM, MISO, ERCOT, and SPP," and that, "AEPEP intends to offer retail energy supply only in Ohio and only to one or more C&l customers with whom AEPEP has an existing commercial dialogue."
As previously reported, AEP previously launched a sale process for its retail energy business conducted under the entity AEP Energy, Inc.
