NWJ TEX LLC registered as a Texas power generation company, stating, "We will develop and operate distributed battery systems across the ERCOT footprint in Texas."

NWJ TEX LLC is 91% owned by NW NA Holding Inc and 9% owned by Links Asset Management LLC

NWJ TEX LLC is part of NW Groupe, which operates energy storage and EV charging & storage assets in France, in addition to renewable energy projects

Earlier this year, Links Energy Partners, a Texas-based Qualified Scheduling Entity (QSE), announced an exclusive four-year partnership with NW under which Links will deploy NW’s JBox distributed storage units to installations across Texas

NW’s proprietary battery technology has been installed in nearly 300 sites and represents approximately 350 MW of storage across Europe

JBox, which is often used in combination with EV charging systems, can store up to 1 MW and 2 MWhs of power.

Link Energy Partners said earlier this year that it expects the first delivery of JBox storage units in late Q3 2023 with installation beginning on select sites across West Texas and in ERCOT.
