US-Based Home Services Comparison Site Acquires UK Retail Energy Switching Platform (US Site Had Earlier Registered As Texas Broker)

Youtility, described as a "UK fintech switching platform", said that it has been acquired by Squeeze, a US-based price comparison website
Youtility offers a B2B platform used by other service providers (such as banks) to help consumers to better manage and control (including switching providers) their household subscriptions -- including retail energy -- directly from their banking and money management apps.
Youtility has also offered its own app that provides retail energy price comparisons and allows customers to switch suppliers through the app
In the U.S., Squeeze on its website currently offers price comparisons for various forms of insurance (auto, home, etc), home loans and refinance, and cellular plans.
As exclusively first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com in 2021, Squeeze LLC, has registered with the Texas PUC as an electricity broker
Youtility said, "Youtility’s market leading B2B API platform combined with Squeeze’s data analytics and B2C experience will see a next generation offering delivered to UK consumers. The newly combined business will deliver a seamless and embedded experience to bank and fintech customers enabling them to manage, track and take action on their household finances directly from within their existing apps."
