Recently Formed Guidepost Energy Submits Texas Broker Registration

Guidepost Energy LLC filed a registration with the Texas PUC as an electricity broker.
Guidepost Energy told EnergyChoiceMatters.com that it is not building a traditional retail energy broker shop, but is registering so that it may work with select partners to help them with their clients' more complex issues such as integrating PPAs, behind the meter generation, etc.; Guidepost Energy said that it is not seeking to compete with other retail energy brokers.
Guidepost Energy LLC is a recently launched Level 4 QSE, offering demand response and generation asset management, as well as consulting and strategy to large commercial and industrial customers and to Load Serving Entities (LSEs).
Guidepost Energy was started by Texas energy market veterans Trey Price, Matt Adams, and Robert Douglas.
