Affiliate Of Pennsylvania District Utility Seeks Retail Supplier License To Sell To Non-Affiliate

Energy Center Retailco LLC applied for a Pennsylvania retail electric supplier license to serve large commercial customers, and its own affiliates, in the Duquesne Light service area.
Energy Center Retailco LLC is part of the Cordia family of corporations, whose companies include CHP and district energy providers. Energy Center Retailco LLC is an affiliate of jurisdictional Pennsylvania district energy utilities Energy Center Pittsburgh LLC and Energy Center Harrisburg LLC
Energy Center Retailco LLC said that it, "intends to purchase power from Three Rivers District Energy, LLC at wholesale, and
then sell some of the electricity at retail to the Allegheny County Airport Authority."
"Any remaining
electricity will be sold at retail to affiliates of the Applicant, using Duquesne Light Company's
transmission and distribution facilities," Energy Center Retailco said
