U.K. Retail Supplier, Founded By FinTech Execs, Expanding To U.S.

Fuse Energy, a retail energy supplier for both residential and commercial customers in the United Kingdom, is expanding to the United States
One of its entities, Fuse Energy NY LLC, filed a Retail Access Application Form with the New York Department of Public Service
Fuse Energy NY LLC indicated that it is still searching for a U.S.-based President and Head of Operations
King Lun Alan Chang serves as Group CEO of Fuse Energy and is one of its founders
Chang previously served as Chief Revenue Officer at Revolut, a fintech company and app-based "neobank"
Fuse Energy says that it offers the, "cheapest electricity tariff in the UK."
Fuse's U.K. website states, "We’re building new renewable sites and turning unused land and rooftops into solar developments."
Fuse's U.K. website states, "Fuse operates 18MW of solar and wind sites in the UK alone, with a further 100MW on the way."
Fuse's U.K. website states, "We reinvest 100% of our profits into renewable electricity projects around the world."
Fuse is said to consist of a group of engineers and thinkers from Revolut, Tesla, and Voltalia
On its LinkedIn page, Fuse states, "We've raised $78m from top tier investors like Balderton, Lakestar, Accel, Creandum, Lowercarbon, and Ribbit."
In New York, Fuse Energy NY LLC sought eligibility to serve all customer classes. For mass market customers, Fuse indicated that it would offer all compliant product types
