ERCOT Reports Incorrect Charging Of System Admin. Fee, Resettlement

ERCOT said in a market notice that, "ERCOT incorrectly updated the ERCOT System Administration Fee rate to $0.71 per MWh instead of the PUC- approved rate of $0.63 per MWh."

"This incorrect rate applied on Operating Days January 1, 2024 through January 4, 2024," ERCOT said in the notice

"ERCOT has corrected this error starting Operating Day January 5, 2024. ERCOT investigated and determined that the impact to Operating Days January 1, 2024 through January 4, 2024 meets the resettlement threshold as specified in paragraph (2) of Protocol Section 9.5.6, RTM Resettlement Statement. ERCOT will post the RTM Resettlement Statements by January 12, 2024," ERCOT said in the notice
