ERCOT will be hosting an Innovation Summit on May 21, 2024 at its Met Center location in Austin.

"The Summit will bring together thought leaders across the energy research and innovation ecosystem to engage and discuss a wide array of topics focusing on the current transformation and future state of the grid," ERCOT said

"The Texas electric power grid is undergoing a rapid transformation with changes to the resource mix, decentralization of generation, electrification, emerging prosumers, and digitization. The ERCOT Innovation Summit brings together stakeholders in the energy research and innovation ecosystems, such as Market Participants, ISO/RTOs, academia, research labs, vendors, etc., to discuss these opportunities and challenges as the grid continues to transform and evolve," ERCOT said

"Anticipated panel sessions will include essential reliability services, demand flexibility, uncertainty management, future of energy storage, transmission planning, and Artificial Intelligence (AI)/ Machine Learning (ML) technology," ERCOT said

See ERCOT's event page for more details and a registration link

"The event is free with limited in-person capacity to attend," ERCOT said
