National Grid in Massachusetts has filed an update to the standard complete billing percentages (SCBPs), or purchase of receivables (POR) discount rates, proposed to be effective May 1, 2024

As filed in an explanatory letter, National Grid's proposed SCBPs for effect May 1, 2024 are as follows (current rates provided for comparison):

                 Current Proposed
Residential 1.99% 2.99%
Commercial 2.63% 3.53%
Industrial 0.39% 0.35%

For the residential discount, the largest driver of the increase is the absence of a -0.74% past period reconciliation that is included in the current discount.

For commercial, the uncollectibles component increased to 2.49% from the current 1.92%, while the reconciliation component increased to 1.04% from 0.71%
