Electric Utility's POR Discount Jumps From 1% To Over 4%

Potomac Edison has filed with the Maryland PSC proposed new purchase of receivables (POR) discount rates, to be effective June 1, 2024
The residential discount is increasing from just under 1% to over 4.2%, as noted below
The new residential discount includes a reconciliation factor of 1.8375%
The 0% discount rates reflect the "zero-ing out" of negative discount rates
