Superior Plus Energy Services Receives Pa. Electric License
As first noted by our
live blog yesterday, the Pennsylvania PUC granted Superior Plus Energy Services an
electric generation supplier license to serve all customer classes, including residential
customers, in all service areas. It is believed to be the first U.S. supplier license
granted to Superior Plus (most notably, New York does not docket license proceedings;
however, Superior Plus does not yet appear as EDI certified in N.Y.). Superior Plus'
planned entry into the U.S. has been chronicled by Matters over the past year (10/1/10,
11/5/09). As more fully detailed in our past coverage, Superior Plus owns several
fuel oil marketers in the Northeast U.S., including in the Philadelphia area, under
which it intends to cross-
HOP Energy Receives Conn. Supplier License
The Connecticut DPUC approved the electric
supplier application of HOP Energy. Extensive background on HOP Energy was exclusively
reported by Matters back in July, and recently in connection with its Pa. application
(12/14, 7/22).
Utility Choice International Receives Pa. Broker License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted
Utility Choice International LLC an electric broker/marketer license to serve all
customer classes, including residential customers, in all service areas.
Muirfield Energy Receives Pa. Broker License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Muirfield
Energy, Inc. an electric broker/marketer license to serve all sizes of commercial
and industrial customers in all service areas.
Industrial Energy Receives Pa. Broker License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted MAA Inc,
d/b/a Industrial Energy, an electric broker/marketer license to serve all customer
classes in all service areas.
Natures Current Receives Pa. Broker License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Natures Current
LLC an electric broker/marketer license to serve all customer classes, including
residential customers, in all service areas.
