N.H. PUC Sets Default Service Rates at Granite State Electric

The New Hampshire PUC approved default service procurements at Granite State Electric (National Grid) which will establish Large Customer rates for the three-month period beginning May 1, 2011, and the rate for Small Customers for the six month period beginning May 1, 2011.

Approved default service rates for the Large Customer Group at Granite State Electric were as follows:

DTE Energy Trading, Inc. will supply 100% of Large Customer default service supplies for the three-month period beginning May 1, 2011

For the Small Customer Group, the procurement resulted in a base supply charge of $0.06374 per kWh for the period May 1, 2011 through October 31, 2011.  The Default Service Adjustment Factor is $0.00035 per kWh; the Cost Reclassification Adjustment Factor is $0.00078 per kWh, and the Renewable Portfolio Standard Adder $0.00193 per kWh.  These adders result in a total default service rate for the Small Customer Group of $0.06680 per kWh for the period May 1, 2011 through October 31, 2011.  

Constellation Energy Commodities Group, Inc. was the winning bidder for the Small Customer Group supplies.
