Santanna Energy Services Seeks Illinois Electric Supplier License

Santanna Natural Gas Corporation, d/b/a Santanna Energy Services, applied for an Illinois alternative retail electric supplier license to serve residential, commercial, and industrial customers at ComEd and Ameren. The application is the first venture into load serving electric supply for Santanna Energy Services, which acts as an electric broker in Illinois and acts as a retail gas supplier in Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan. Santanna Energy Services has contracted with EDF Trading North America, LLC for various operational and technical capabilities, such as scheduling, in addition to supply and credit support.

Xoom Energy Seeks Michigan Gas License

Xoom Energy Michigan, LLC applied for a Michigan alternative gas supplier license. As only reported in Matters, Xoom Energy is a start-up owned by seven individuals with varying levels of member interests who also own LKN Communications, Inc. d/b/a ACN, Inc. (5/19)
