Constellation NewEnergy Receives Authority to Serve Residential Customers at Ameren

The Illinois Commerce Commission granted Constellation NewEnergy an amendment to its Illinois alternative retail electric supplier license in order to serve residential and small commercial customers at Ameren. Constellation previously had authority at Ameren to serve customers with annual usage in excess of 15,000 kWh, and authority to serve all customer classes at ComEd (where it is active in the residential market). The application was first reported in Matters (5/6).


Texas Retail Energy Receives Maryland Electric License

Texas Retail Energy has received a Maryland electric supplier license limited to supplying Wal-Mart stores and related affiliates. The application was first reported in Matters (4/5).


Sustainable Star Seeks D.C. Gas Broker License

Sustainable Star LLC applied for a District of Columbia gas broker license to serve commercial and industrial customers.
