West Penn Power Weekly Residential Migration Exceeds 6,000 Customers

Weekly residential migration at West Penn Power continues to grow and topped 6,000 customers for the most recent week, according to the latest statistics from the Pennsylvania PUC.

Matters has also compiled a comparison of the migration levels from the 8/10/11 Report versus the 8/3/11 Report, as well as comparing the rate of migration in each of the past two weeks.

West Penn Power saw a net of over 6,000 new residential shoppers from August 4 through August 10, up from growth of 5,100 in the immediately preceding week.

At PECO, the net growth in residential migration during the most recent week was 2,700, down slightly versus the week-ago growth of 3,100.

Penelec continued the significant residential migration growth seen in July and early August, with the most recent week seeing just under 2,500 new residential shoppers, down slightly from 3,000 each of the past two weeks.

At PPL, residential migration growth for the most recent week was just under 1,300, down from 1,500 a week ago.
