New Jersey Posts June Electric Migration Stats

The New Jersey BPU has posted electric migration statistics for the month of June 2011.

From May to June, PSE&G saw residential migration increase by over 6,800 accounts, up from monthly growth of 5,800 from April to May.

At Jersey Central Power & Light, residential migration growth from May to June was over 7,200 accounts, down slightly from 7,600 from April to May.

Atlantic City Electric saw the monthly migration growth in residential accounts drop to 2,700 new residential shoppers from May to June, versus 4,000 new residential shoppers from April to May.

As a percentage of total residential accounts, migration for the month of June 2011 was as follows:
Atlantic City Electric: 11.3%
Jersey Central Power & Light: 10.3%
Public Service Electric & Gas: 6.1%
Rockland Electric: 4.6%

JCP&L has crossed the 10% threshold for percent of residential accounts migrated (May 2011 percent was 9.6%).

JCP&L has also now crossed the 100,000 threshold for the number of residential accounts migrated, joining PSE&G.
