PUCT Directs Enforcement Staff to Investigate Variable Rate Disclosures

The PUCT directed enforcement Staff to ensure REPs offering variable rate plans are making required disclosures of the rate, after a recent article in the Fort Worth Star Telegram regarding a large increase in a variable rate for a Dynowatt customer.


PUCT Adopts Oncor Settlement Which Will Implement Load Factor Grouping to Address Demand Ratchets

The PUCT approved a stipulation establishing new rates at Oncor, which will, among other things, modify how demand charges are applied to customers of REPs in the Secondary Service Greater than 10 kW class. Texas Draft Would Fine Hwy 3 MHP $1.44 Million

A proposed Texas order would impose an administrative penalty of $1.44 million on defunct retail electric provider Hwy 3 MHP, LLC d/b/a eTricity, for what an ALJ would conclude were violations of various Commission rules regarding the treatment and refund of customer deposits associated with Hwy 3 MHP's involuntary mass transition in June 2008.


Ameresco Acquires APS Energy Services Company

Ameresco, Inc. announced today that it has acquired APS Energy Services Company, Inc. from Pinnacle West Capital Corporation for an undisclosed sum. APS Energy Services will be renamed Ameresco Southwest
