New Jersey Posts July Gas Migration Data

The New Jersey BPU has posted natural gas migration statistics for the month of July 2011.

The BPU's stats, including accounts and load migrated, may be found here.

A comparison by Matters of accounts migrated in July 2011 versus June 2011 can be found here (second tab).

PSE&G and New Jersey Natural Gas both saw sharp increases in monthly residential migration growth.

At PSE&G, the net growth in residential migration from June to July was 2,200 accounts, versus only 77 from May to June.

At New Jersey Natural Gas, the net growth in residential migration from June to July was 1,063 accounts, double the growth of 540 from May to June.

As a percentage of total residential accounts, migration for the month of July 2011 was as follows:

Elizabethtown Gas: 1.01%

New Jersey Natural Gas: 6.71%

PSE&G: 4.63%

South Jersey Gas: 10.93%
