Texas REP 4Change Energy Announces the Four Nonprofit Agencies Receiving Affinity Donations Texas retail electric provider 4Change Energy has named the four charitable organizations that will benefit from its affinity program that allows customers to select various causes to support.
4Change Energy is a unit of Energy Future Holdings, and its launch was first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com last summer.
The organizations that will receive affinity donations from 4Change Energy are the local chapters of:
• Texas Food Bank Network
• American Cancer Society
• American Red Cross
• Heroes for Children
4Change Energy customers can choose which of the four charities they would like to receive the company's support. The company tallies up the customer votes and divides its profit sharing contributions to the charities based on its customers' preferences.
