FirstEnergy Pennsylvania Commercial Default Service Rates To Increase As Much As 18%
The FirstEnergy Pennsylvania utilities have filed new tariffed commercial PTCDefault rates with the PUC for the three-month period starting December 1, 2017
The PTCDefault rates are the all-in default service rates without the application of the State Tax Adjustment Surcharge (essentially, the PTC prior to application of the STAS), which is currently 0%.
At Met-Ed, the tariffed commercial PTCDefault rate will be 6.226¢/kWh effective December 1, a 6% increase from the current 5.863¢/kWh
At Penelec, the tariffed commercial PTCDefault rate will be 6.769¢/kWh effective December 1, an 18% increase from the current 5.727¢/kWh
At West Penn Power, the commercial PTCDefault rate will be 4.858¢/kWh effective December 1, a marginal increase versus the current 4.787¢/kWh
At Penn Power, the tariffed commercial PTCDefault rate will be 6.929¢/kWh effective December 1, a 7% decrease versus the current 7.456¢/kWh
