Stream Launches Free Nights, Weekends Plans

Stream Energy has launched in Texas free nights and free weekends plans, and also announced the launch of service in a new state
Stream also officially announced its offer of its "Budget Power Plan" which allows customers to purchase blocks of energy usage at a flat monthly price. The offering of blocks of power for a flat price had been first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com in November 2017
In the Oncor service area, Stream is offering a Free Nights plan, which is an indexed product with a 12-month term, which has an average all-in price at 1,000 kWh of 13.8¢/kWh
Under the Free Nights plan at Oncor, Stream customers pay an energy charge of 15.6¢/kWh plus TDU charges of 3.4556¢/kWh for usage that occurs outside of the free usage period. Customers pay no energy or TDU usage charges for the free period, which is 8 p.m. to 4:59 a.m. daily. A Stream base charge of $9.95 per month and a TDU monthly charge of $3.49 also apply.

Customers pay no energy or TDU usage charges for the free period, which is 6 p.m. Friday to 11:59 p.m. Sunday. A Stream base charge of $9.95 per month and a TDU monthly charge of $3.49 also apply.
Both the Free Nights and Free Weekends plans include an early termination fee of $250
Stream is offering a $200 Visa gift card as a bonus for the Free Nights and Free Weekends plans, for customers completing their term
Stream also announced that it will expand its energy services to six territories in Ohio, with residential electricity to be offered at AEP Ohio, Duke Energy Ohio, Dayton Power & Light, and the three FirstEnergy Ohio EDCs
