Teleios Commodities Provides Start-Up Capital for New Retail Supplier Led By Market Veterans
The following story is brought free of charge to readers by EC Infosystems, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
Teleios Commodities, LLC announced a "material" investment in Powervine Energy, a newly created retail energy company providing energy services to residential customers and small businesses in the Northeastern United States.
The launch of Powervine Energy and its leadership including retail market veterans Bill Kinneary (CEO), Marc Davis (Vice President, Marketing and Sales), and Stacy Havlicek (Chief Commercial Officer) had been first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com in March.
Additionally, retail energy veteran Joseph Waldman serves as a partner at Powervine, along with Kinneary and Havlicek.
Waldman serves as COO of Powervine and has led operations as a senior executive (chief or vice president) at several retail suppliers including Gateway Energy Services, North American Power, and Sperian Energy.
Powervine will provide customers with electricity, natural gas and energy related products and services.
As previously reported, Powervine's approach will include emphasis on a rewards program as well as renewable and carbon-neutral product offerings (see prior story for more details)
Teleios stated, "In partnership with Teleios, Powervine will receive significant operational assistance, inclusive of full access to Teleios’ proprietary power database, integrated solutions platform and deep experience in the retail power arena."
According to Brandon Schwertner, Teleios’ founding partner, "The Powervine opportunity is tailor-made for the Teleios platform. Not only does it provide access to the retail markets we consider most compelling, but the knowledge, experience and outstanding professional reputation of the management team is completely consistent with the Teleios investment approach."
Powervine will offer service in CT, IL, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, and RI.
Powervine's primary sales channels will be direct mail and internet sales.
