Start-up Texas REP Adds Market Vets As VP Of Operations, Pricing, Controller Roles

Grid Plus Texas Inc. has filed for an amended Texas retail electric provider certificate to reflect changes in technical/managerial qualifications and to add a trade name

Ryan Thomason recently joined Grid Plus Texas Inc. as VP of Operations. Thomason has served in a variety of senior roles at Texas REPs, including Director of Operations at Frontier Utilities, Director of Operations at Entrust Energy, Sr. Manager, Operations at Direct Energy, and Director of Operations at StarTex Power

Jessica Sacks also recently joined Grid Plus Texas Inc. as Director of Pricing. Sacks previously served as Manager, Residential Segment Marketing at Reliant and has held a variety of senior roles at Just Energy, including Director, Customer Renewals and Retention. Sacks has also served as Director, Retention and Pricing at LifeEnergy.

Tuyen Nguyen also recently joined Grid Plus Texas as Controller. Nguyen previously served in similar roles, including Manager, Operational Accounting - Accounts Receivable and Bad Debt (Gas and Power), at Direct Energy

Mark D'Agostino is also now listed as President of the subsidiary Grid Plus Texas Inc.

D'Agostino, co-founder of ConsenSys Enterprise, has served as CEO of the parent Grid+ since its creation. Previously, Mark D'Agostino had been listed as "Director" at the Grid Plus Texas Inc. entity.

Grid Plus Texas Inc. filed to add the trade name "GridPlus Energy" to its Texas REP certificate.

As previously reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, Grid+ describes itself as, "a next generation retail electricity provider that brings you low prices through artificial intelligence and blockchain technology."

The company is currently seeking beta testers in the Oncor and CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric regions, after having conducted an alpha program
