Update: More Retail Energy Vets Among Leadership At Start-up Retail Supplier, Initial Licenses Sought

A retail energy veteran is the CFO at start-up retail energy supplier Actual Energy, Inc., whose creation had exclusively been first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com earlier this month

Actual Energy, Inc. has applied for a Maine electric supplier license to serve medium and large non-residential customers in Maine's three investor-owned utility service areas

Actual Energy's supplier application in Maine confirms that Mark Finley, founder and President of Actual Energy, Inc., previously served as Senior Vice President of Sales in New England at Glacial Energy. According to Finley's bio, "While overseeing a complete rebuild of Glacial’s operations, Mark and his team leveraged his strategy nationally to all deregulated markets driving revenues from 6 Million to over 750 Million in five years."

Previously, Finley spent 10 years as President and CEO of Finley Enterprises, described as, "a tier one Telecommunications consulting company that was responsible for network development for major telecommunication companies including T-Mobile, AT&T, Nextel, Sprint, and General Dynamics."

John Allario serves as CFO of Actual Energy, Inc.

Allario previously served as Vice President, Finance and a non-funding founder at Mint Energy, LLC. Previously, Allario served as Vice President, Business Development and Vice President of Operations at Patriot Energy Group, and Vice President, Credit Risk Management at Sempra Energy Trading Corp.

Diane Mero serves as SVP, Operations at Actual Energy, Inc.

Mero previously served as Director of Operations at Great American Power, LLC and Senior Pricing Analyst at Glacial Energy. Mero has also consulted for numerous retail energy clients on a variety of topics.

Actual Energy has also applied for a retail supplier license in Massachusetts

Actual Energy said in its Maine application that it would eventually expand to all deregulated states
