Energy Harbor (Formerly FirstEnergy Solutions) Applies For Texas Retail Electric Provider Certificate

Energy Harbor LLC, formerly known as FirstEnergy Solutions, has formally filed an application for an Option 1 Texas retail electric provider certificate
Energy Harbor LLC's intent to seek a Texas REP certificate, as well as retail licenses in several other new states beyond FES's traditional footprint, had been exclusively first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com in early March
Under the Texas application, Energy Harbor sought authority to have the option of collecting deposits or advance payments from customers
Energy Harbor LLC's application indicated that it is seeking to have Vistra Energy serve as its QSE, stating that an agreement is, "To be negotiated, likely to begin in June or July, prior to start of service."
