SmartestEnergy, New Entrant To U.S. Retail Market, Seeks Licenses In More States

customers with annual usage >15,000 kWh in the Commonwealth Edison territory
SmartestEnergy also applied for a District of Columbia electric supplier license to serve commercial and industrial customers
In its Illinois application, SmartestEnergy stated that it is is
licensed as a competitive retail electric supplier in New York, Pennsylvania,
New Jersey, and Ohio, and has pending applications in Maryland and
Delaware.
