PSC Approves Delay In Supplier Consolidated Billing, Holds Hearing On Cost Recovery

The Maryland PSC has approved a delay in the implementation of supplier consolidated billing
The PSC extended the implementation deadline for SCB to December 31, 2024.
The PSC also adopted a definition for low income customer for SCB, approving the utilization of the low-income customer definition approved in RM78 (the proceeding addressing the restriction of offers to energy assistance customers)
The PSC held a hearing today concerning cost recovery for SCB, considering various options set forth in a previously reported workgroup report (see details here)
The PSC took the SCB cost recovery issue under advisement, subject to a future order
