Broker Formed By Ontario Retail Energy Supplier Registers As Texas Broker

American Wholesale Energy registered as a Texas retail electric broker
EnergyChoiceMatters.com was first to report in June American Wholesale Energy Inc.'s creation by ONIT Energy Ltd. d/b/a Ontario Wholesale Energy, which is described as the largest energy retailer in Ontario
In its Texas registration, American Wholesale Energy checked boxes to serve all customer classes, as it did Ohio (note that American Wholesale Energy and several other recent broker applicants appear to have used an outdated Texas registration form, as the current form no longer requests registrants to indicate customer classes served). American Wholesale Energy's current website suggests a focus on business customers
American Wholesale Energy also recently applied for a Connecticut electricity aggregator certificate, limited to serving non-residential customers
American Wholesale Energy Inc. previously received Ohio electric/gas broker licenses
