Texas PUC Conditionally Grants REP Certificate

The Texas PUC conditionally granted an Option 2 retail electric provider certificate to Mothership Texas REP 12, LLC
Option 2 REPs are limited to serving customers 1 MW and larger which provide an affidavit agreeing to such service
Under recent changes to the REP certification rules, Option 2 REPs are no longer required to provide such customer affidavits prior to certification, but must provide at least one eligible customer affidavit agreeing to service within 30 days of the REP certification being granted
Mothership Texas REP 12, LLC's Option 2 REP certificate is thus conditioned on Mothership Texas REP 12, LLC submitting, within 30 days, an affidavit from an eligible customer agreeing to take service from Mothership Texas REP 12
To the extent no such customer affidavits are filed, the REP application of Mothership Texas REP 12, LLC will be deemed denied with respect to each and every customer for whom an affidavit has not been filed
Mothership Texas REP 12, LLC is associated with Mothership, which, among other things, offers a white label REP service
