Duquesne Light Default Supply Rate Falling 18%

Duquesne Light filed with the Pennsylvania PUC the default service supply rate for Medium Commercial & Industrial customers for the period March 1, 2025 through May 31, 2025
The default service supply rate, or supply charge, reflects generation supply only, unlike the official Price to Compare which also reflects transmission and the state tax adjustment surcharge. An official new PTC has not yet been posted
The supply charge for Medium Commercial & Industrial customers (25-200 kW, Rate Schedules GS/GM and GMH) at Duquesne Light will be 5.4990¢/kWh for the period March 1, 2025 through May 31, 2025, about 18% lower than the current rate of 6.7470¢/kWh
