Texas PUC To Hold Workshop On Emergency Operations Plans, Updates (REPs Among Entities Which Must File, Attendance "Strongly Encouraged", Per PUC Staff)

The Texas PUC will hold a workshop on January 30, 2025 concerning emergency operations plans (EOP) which must be filed by certain entities subject to PUCT jurisdiction, including retail electric providers
Among other things, the workshop will address findings from a recent biannual Weather Emergency Preparedness Report issued by the PUCT, as well as Hurricane Beryl investigation findings, and the incorporation of any findings or best practices from such reports into the EOP plans which must be filed by subject entities
"Attendance is strongly encouraged by each ... retail electric provider ... subject to an annual [EOP] filing," PUCT Staff said in a memo
