Several Texas REPs File To Relinquish Certificates

The entities Priority Energy Transition 1, LLC; Priority Energy Transition 2, LLC; Priority Energy Transition 3, LLC; and Priority Energy Transition 5, LLC have each individually filed at the Texas PUC to relinquish each's Option 2 Texas REP certificate.
Each of the REPs stated that it did not previously serve any customers.
Each REP states, "This REP previously had negotiated to provide capacity to certain customers however those projects did not materialize and the REP was never required to provide service."
Note that Priority Energy Transition 4, LLC, an Option 2 REP, has not filed to relinquish its certificate
The Priority Energy Transition entities are part of Priority Power
When originally applying for the REP certificates, Priority Power had said that it had no intention of becoming a retail electric provider, but was seeking the certificates to assist large loads in becoming their own self-suppliers
