B2B Commerce Platform Acquires Retail Energy Broker

AppDirect, Inc. has indirectly acquired all of the issued and outstanding shares of Dominion Newenergy Inc., which is the direct upstream owner of retail energy broker DNE Sales, LLC d/b/a DNE Resources
DNE's current leadership, Wayne Burke and Steve Shoiry, will continue to comprise DNE’s leadership and management team
With the transaction, Wayne Burke holds the title of General Manager at DNE, and Steve Shoiry holds the title of Head of Sales at DNE
Separately, Broker Online Exchange LLC (BOX) recently reported a separate transaction under which AppDirect will shortly purchase 60% of the equity interests in Broker Online Exchange LLC (BOX) from the members of BOX. As a result of this transaction, AppDirect will hold 100% of the voting interests of BOX.
AppDirect is described as offering a B2B commerce platform for selling, buying, and managing recurring technology services. Among other things, AppDirect offers digital procurement services and marketplaces, and related software and solutions
