CL&P Mass Market Default Service Rates Falling 11-13%

Connecticut Light & Power has filed Standard Service rates for the period July 2025 through December 2025, and Last Resort Service rates for the period July 2025 through September 2025
The July 2025 through December 2025 CL&P (Eversource) residential (Rate 1) Standard Service rate will be 9.748¢/kWh, which is about 13% lower than the current rate of 11.190¢/kWh
The July 2025 rates, and all rates below, include the bypassable Federally Mandated Congestion Charge, which will be updated to -0.130¢/kWh effective with the July 2025 default service rates
The CL&P small C&I (Rate 30 & 35) Standard Service rate will be 9.556¢/kWh for July 2025 through December 2025, an 11% decrease from the current 10.710¢/kWh
