Strobe Power NY, LLC, a start-up power marketer, is offering customers the opportunity to join its "network" and offering to pay customers for electricity from their solar, batteries, and generators.

"We participate in energy markets on your behalf, ensuring you get the best price for the electricity you produce," Strobe states on its website

A job posting stated to be from Strobe Power states, "Our platform turns every building into a mini-power-plant, remotely dispatches fleets in sub-second loops, and algorithmically trades their energy in wholesale, capacity, and ancillary-service markets."

While Strobe offers its service to a variety of customer and asset types, among its potential customers are customers eligible for net metering

Strobe is initially focusing on the New York market, but states an intent to offer service in more regions in the future.

Strobe has sought FERC market-based rate authority for the NYISO area. Strobe Power is an approved distributed energy resource aggregator at ConEd

A forecast tool on Strobe's website supports New York assets, but lists Texas and California as, "coming soon."

The forecast tool offers data for front-of-the-meter assets, but lists behind-the-meter assets as coming soon on the tool

Strobe Power offers related services (automation, management, etc) in addition to electricity purchases and sales into the markets

Per a LinkedIn profile, Keeley Erhardt is CEO and founder of Strobe Power. Erhardt is described as a technologist with a background in software engineering, AI, and distributed systems

William Fisher serves as Chief Operating Officer of Strobe Power. Fisher previously held several senior roles at APR Energy, a provider of specialized energy solutions including behind-the-meter (BTM) generation, including Head of APAC & EMEA, and Managing Director
