Ownership Of New Retail Supplier Disclosed

Green Grid Energy LLC, a newly formed retail energy supplier, has disclosed its ownership in an application for FERC market-based rate authority
Green Grid Energy LLC is equally owned by four companies, LGK Energy Holdings LLC, Nu Wave Development LLC, Viper Energy Holdings LLC and OMS Capital Energy Holdings LLC. No other persons or entities currently hold a financial, equity, or voting interest in Green Grid Energy LLC
In the FERC application, Green Grid Energy stated, "At present, neither the Applicant nor any of its Affiliates are FERC-jurisdictional entities. Additionally, at present, neither the Applicant nor any of its Affiliates hold an ownership or controlling interest in a FERC-jurisdictional entity."
As previously reported, Lance Georgekutty serves as President of Green Grid Energy LLC. No other persons currently hold an officer or director position in Green Grid Energy LLC, the company stated in its FERC application
As previously reported, Green Grid Energy LLC has received a determination from New York DPS Staff that all requirements for Green Grid's initial state of eligibility as an ESCO have been satisfied
As previously reported, DPS Staff's letter to Green Grid Energy indicated that initial eligibility has been satisfied for electricity and natural gas, for Large C&Is
In the FERC filing, Green Grid Energy stated that it, "intends to act as a retail energy supplier in various jurisdictions in the United States."
