New Texas PUC Docket Captioned As REP's Certificate Relinquishment

The Texas PUC's docket interchange site has captioned a newly created docket (58458) as, "APPLICATION OF EXXONMOBIL POWER AND GAS SERVICES INC.TO [sic] RELINQUISH ITS RETAIL ELECTRIC PROVIDER CERTIFICATE".
As of publication time, the only filing in the docket was marked as confidential. The filing description for the confidential filing was listed as "Option II REP relinquishment form"
As such, EnergyChoiceMatters.com could not immediately confirm whether the docket caption accurately reflects the substance of the filing.
ExxonMobil Power and Gas Services Inc currently holds an Option 2 REP certificate, limited to serving customers 1 MW and larger which provide an affidavit agreeing to such service
