Constellation Reports Continued "Strong" Performance From Commercial Business

Constellation Energy Corporation reported Adjusted (non-GAAP) Operating Earnings of $599 million for the second quarter of 2025, versus $531 million in the year-ago quarter
Constellation reported, "continued strong performance from our Generation and Commercial businesses."
Among other things, the second quarter 2025 results saw benefits from, "Favorable market and portfolio conditions primarily driven by higher capacity revenues and generation-to-load optimization."
Among other factors, Constellation reported as positive drivers (versus the year-ago quarter) for operating revenue in its Mid-Atlantic and Midwest segments, "favorable retail load revenue," primarily due to higher contracted energy prices, and, for the Midwest segment, also due to higher load volumes
