Texas Retail Provider Receives Authority To Use Trade Name Companion Energy, Also Changes Legal Name

The Texas PUC granted Frontier Utilities, LLC an amendment to its Option 1 Texas retail electric provider certificate to, among other things, reflect a change in its legal name to Retail Energy Solutions, LLC
The entity now named Retail Energy Solutions, LLC also received authorization to add the trade name Companion Energy to the certificate
With the change in its legal name, Retail Energy Solutions, LLC also received authorization to add the trade name Frontier Utilities to the certificate
The prior trade names Sol Energy and Rodeo Energy were deleted from the Retail Energy Solutions, LLC REP certificate
Retail Energy Solutions, LLC f/k/a Frontier Utilities, LLC is part of NextEra Energy
