The following story is brought free of charge to readers by VertexOne, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
174 Power Global Retail Texas, LLC filed for an amendment to its Texas REP certificate to reflect a, "corporate restructuring that involves the applicant" (the phrase is standard terminology in a check box on the amendment form)
Further specifics were filed under seal
However, an affiliate of 174 Power Global Retail Texas, LLC, namely Chariot Energy Northeast, LLC, recently reported an internal reorganization of upstream ownership interests of Chariot Energy Northeast, LLC within the same corporate family
Chariot Energy Northeast, LLC had previously reported, in a FERC filing earlier this year, that Chariot Energy Northeast, LLC's parent, 174 Power Global Retail Corporation ('Power
Global'), was 85% owned by Hanwha Energy USA Holdings Corporation d/b/a 174 Power Global ('USA Holdings'), and that the remaining 15% of Power Global was owned
by Hanwha Q CELLS America Inc. ('Q CELLS').
Updating this information, Chariot Energy Northeast, LLC recently reported that, "On October 31, 2025, USA Holdings purchased
Q CELLS’ interest in Power Global (the 'Transaction'), such that now, Power Global is a wholly
owned subsidiary of USA Holdings."
It was not clear if the 174 Power Global Retail Texas, LLC corporate restructuring is the same or similar to that described for Chariot Energy Northeast, LLC
