All Choice Energy Would Receive Retail Supplier License In New State Under Draft Order
A draft Connecticut PURA decision would grant an electric supplier license to "All Choice Energy, LLC" [sic], to serve residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The application was filed by the entity All Choice Energy NE LLC (which appears as the applicant under the case's caption). In its application, All Choice indicated that the sole reason it is requesting a license to serve residential customers is to offer the owners of its commercial customers the opportunity to enroll their residences with All Choice Energy. The draft order would stress that, "All Choice should be aware that if it receives a residential license solely to solicit the residential accounts of its business customers, then its solicitation of those accounts must comport with all applicable laws and decisions regarding marketing to and protections for residential customers." If the draft order is approved, All Choice would, as is customary, be required to make various compliance filings
