Another Lancium Entity Seeks Texas REP Certificate
The following story is brought free of charge to readers by VertexOne, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
Lancium REP II, LLC applied for an Option 2 Texas retail electric provider certificate
Option 2 REPs are limited to serving customers 1 MW and larger which provide an affidavit agreeing to such service
Several Lancium entities are already certified as Option 2 REPs
As previously reported, the Lancium entities which hold Option 2 Texas REP certificates would become competitive affiliates of Texas-New Mexico Power Company under a previously reported proposed merger under which Texas-New Mexico Power Company would become an indirect subsidiary of Troy ParentCo LLC and Blackstone Infrastructure, due to the investment and stake in Lancium LLC held by several other Blackstone Inc. funds
Lancium is an energy technology and infrastructure company, developing campuses aimed at data center customers and bitcoin miners, among others
