The following story is brought free of charge to readers by VertexOne, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
The New York ISO confirmed that customers of Electree, LLC are being transferred to default service as a result of NYISO terminating Electree, LLC from the ISO-Administered Markets in accordance with Section 2.7.5.3 of NYISO’s Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT) and Section 7.5.3 of the Market Administration and Control Area Services Tariff (Services Tariff).
EnergyChoiceMatters previously reported that NYISO on January 27 had informed market participants that Electree, LLC had suffered a Creditworthiness Default
In a January 30 filing, NYISO reported that Electree remains in default under NYISO’s tariffs, prompting the termination of Electree, LLC from the ISO-Administered Markets
The NYISO has contacted the providers of last resort in the area served by Electree, and those providers will provide service to Electree’s former customers.
