Entity Led By Bo Delp Registers As Texas Electric Broker

SPGP2, LLC has newly registered as a Texas retail electric broker.
SPGP2, LLC was formed in 2023. SPGP2, LLC's initial certificate of formation filed with the Texas Secretary of State listed State Power Generation, PBC (a Texas public benefit corporation) as a governing person of SPGP2, LLC
SPGP2, LLC's electric broker registration lists Bo Delp as the authorized representative for SPGP2, LLC, with Delp further identified as President of State Power Generation, PBC
EnergyChoiceMatters.com could not immediately confirm that the individual named Bo Delp, authorized representative for SPGP2, LLC, is the same individual named Bo Delp who serves as executive director of the Texas Climate Jobs Project
However, SPGP2, LLC's address as listed on its broker registration is the same address as listed in public materials for the Texas Climate Jobs Project (including both addresses not listing a suite number).
The building at such address is also used by various labor-related and similar organizations, including the AFL-CIO; certain individuals involved with labor causes are believed to be directors of State Power Generation, PBC, though ECM could immediately confirm that the individuals listed as directors of State Power Generation, PBC are the same individuals involved with various labor causes, notwithstanding such individuals having the same names, respectively
The Texas Climate Jobs Project describes itself as follows on its website: "The Texas Climate Jobs Project (TCJP) launched in July 2021 and is a coalition of Texas labor unions from across Texas united to fight climate change and reverse income inequality in the country's energy capital. The coalition advocates for long-term solutions to these intertwined crises by pushing state and local lawmakers to tap the state’s massive renewable energy potential and create millions of new family-sustaining union jobs."
TCJP further states on its website, "Everyone deserves a fair shot in our clean energy transition in Texas."
