Lubbock Power & Light said in a market notice that, due to sustained high winds and forecasted gusts creating hazardous conditions within LP&L’s service territory, field resources are being prioritized for outage response and system restoration.

All disconnect for non-pay (DNP) orders scheduled for February 17, 2026, will be unexecuted under Force Majeure (T022).

AMS activities will continue as normal except for DNP, while MVI/SW orders will be completed as conditions permit and may be delayed in the event of widespread outages.

MVO orders and construction meter installs are expected to be delayed (unless the premise is occupied), and retailers will not be charged for consumption during delays.

Emergency work will be prioritized, and non-critical service orders may experience delays through February 18, 2026.
