Midwest Cactus LLC d/b/a Blackfin Consulting applied for an Ohio electric broker/aggregator license to serve all types of non-residential customers in all service areas.

Greg Elam, who has more than 35 years of experience in energy marketing and restructured energy markets, serves as Managing Member of Blackfin Consulting. Patricia Elam is also a Member of Midwest Cactus LLC

The entity now named Midwest Cactus LLC, being led by Greg Elam at such time, previously owned and operated broker STEP Resources Consulting (which Elam had founded) with the STEP Resources Consulting broker business sold to Lykins Energy in December 2015 (without the parent LLC being sold). Greg Elam has been engaged in various energy advisory and business consulting roles since 2015

Greg Elam also previously founded and served as CEO at energy marketer and broker American Energy Solutions

Prior to holding various roles in the restructured energy industry starting in 1991, Greg Elam spent 12 years in various roles at Cincinnati Gas & Electric, including long-term bulk power transactions
