Residential Energy, Prosumer Vet Joins ChargePoint As Chief Product and Software Officer

ChargePoint announced the appointment of Jaser Faruq as Chief Product and Software Officer.
Faruq previously served as Senior Vice President, Innovation at Schneider Electric, where, among other responsibilities, Faruq managed several acquisitions, including notably the acquisition of energy marketplace EnergySage. Faruq had been identified as SVP, Prosumer at Schneider Electric at the time of Schneider Electric's acquisition of retail energy broker and residential energy platform WattBuy last year. At Schneider Electric, Faruq led the company’s North American electrification businesses, overseeing EV chargers, batteries, and smart panels
Previously, Faruq served as Head of Residential Energy at Tesla, leading the direct to customer Powerwall and Solar business and deployment operations
